Madeline Knolmayer, 17, is an eleventh grader from Wasilla, Alaska. She started mushing when she was about 2-years-old because racing was a family past time. Though she has been around the sport all her life, this will be the first season where she has stepped on the runners with plans of racing. Madeline enjoys skiing, running, playing guitar, and writing. After high school, she would like to go to college in order to study film and creative writing. In her free time, she also plans to continue mushing recreationally.
