Keira Irish, 14, is a ninth grader from Fairbanks, Alaska. She first started mushing in 2019, shortly after learning how to skijor. Although this will be her first season of sled racing, she did earn a 3rd place in a skijoring event. Aside from mushing and skijoring, Keira also plays football, has a black belt, and loves to paint. After high school, she would like to go to college in Alaska. She definitely plans to continue skijoring and hopes that can also continue mushing.
