AddieAnn Randall, 15, is a tenth grader from Willow, Alaska. In 2018, she was given the chance to run Robert Bundtzen's retired dogs and fell in love with the sport. A few years later, her family bought their first sled dogs and Rock on Racing was born. Since then it has become a family activity with AddieAnn, mom, dad, and brother all training with the dogs that they affectionately call the Rock Stars. She has been running longer races for the last few years to include Jr. Iditarod (6th - 2024), Willow Jr. 100 (3rd - 2024, 4th - 2023, 5th - 2022, 9th - 2021), Yukon Quest 80 (1st - 2024), Knik 100 (6th - 2023), ACE Race (1st in Junior Division - 2023), Nome Sign 10 (2nd - 2021). But mushing is not only about racing for the Randall family, there was a point when it was a relied on mode of transportation. For a year and a half, the family lived 65 miles from the road system and used their dogs to mush out. When not on the runners, AddieAnn enjoys hunting, fishing, trapping, hiking, bikejoring, woodworking, gardening, raising chickens, paddle boarding, and writing. After high school, she would like to become a veterinarian, continue dog mushing, and become a bush pilot.
