Tietje Paveglio, 17, is a twelfth grader from Eagle River, Alaska. She first got her start mushing at 8 years old when her dad got into the sport. She owns two of her own sled dogs (Kissy and Toasty) and will be racing dogs from Dream Team Kennel. Tietje's had the opportunity to finish three Jr. Iditarods (2022 - 11th, 2023 - 7th, 2024 - 9th) and four Willow Jr. 100s (2021 - 11th, 2022 - 8th, 2023 - 7th, 2024 - 7th). When not mushing, she can be found hiking, camping, sewing, spending money, and hanging out with friends and family. After graduating high school, she plans to continue mushing.
