Makenna Vanderhoof, 17, is a twelfth graders. During part of year she lives in Wisconsin with her moms side of the family; and during the rest of the year she lives in Alaska with her dads side of the family. Makenna got into mushing back in 2016 when her Alaska family bought some Alaskan huskies and she instantly fell in love with the sport. In her free time, Makenna can be found hanging out with friends, working out, and spending time with her animals. After she graduates high school, Makenna plans to continue mushing in Alaska.
